YARDLEY'S SALON & SPA

Whenever Bruce Bowen—a star forward for the San Antonio Spurs basketball team—feels stressed-out and requires some much-needed rest, relaxation and pampering, he can escape to Yardley's Salon & Spa, which he and his wife, Yardley, recently opened in the "Alamo City." Chic furnishings, warm woods and rich hues accentuate the 10,000-square-foot space, which features 20 hair, six manicure and seven pedicure stations, as well as four esthetician quarters, six massage rooms and a private Vichy shower. There's also a his-and-her double massage area and a double pedicure area for guests who want to share services with their special someone.

Renowned for delivering five-star, resort-style salon and spa services minutes away from home, the facility offers a number of signature treatments and spa packages. There's even a kids menu that offers a Mini Elite Solar Hand Therapy and Mini Solar Foot Pedicure. "Over the years, we've been very fortunate to have visited a variety of beautiful places," Yardley says. "Our goals were to offer something for everyone and to share our wonderful encounters with our customers by incorporating them into the services at Yardley's Salon & Spa." —K.D.
