Here Come The Brides

Aveda partnered with eco-chic wedding dress designer Adele Wechsler on her Spring 2011 collection

"Beautiful bridal makeup is about enhancing the bride's own beauty," explains Aveda Global Makeup Educator Janell Geason

"Brides today are opting for styles that don't look overdone or too stiff," says Aveda Purefessional Jennifer Covington

Aveda partnered with eco-chic wedding designer to Adele Wechsler on her Spring 2011 collection which shined a spotlight on the Green Wedding movement. A team of Aveda educators worked behind-the-scenes, creating natural-looking hair that showcased matte texture and cascading curls shaped into uncontrived updos  and beautiful, soft makeup looks  for the presentation. According to company officials at the Blaine, MN-based company, the partnership with Adele Wechsler, who designs for the bride who cares about the world in which she lives, naturally brings to life our common goals and philosophies. Stay tuned for more events with Wechsler in the future.
