Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 Show Features OPI Nail Lacquer
This past December designer Jason Wu showcased his pre-fall 2012 collection, and as an appropriate accent, the models showing off the designer’s cool new duds all had fingertips glazed in OPI Nail Lacquer’s Got the Blues for Red.
The rich blue-based red hue was fitting and a classically regal complement to the clothing, as Wu looked to modernist artist Charley Harper and the Maharaja for inspiration. The collection includes delicate beading, embroidery and jewel-toned colors on luxurious sweaters, pointy-collared blouses and tailored outerwear.
In other Wu news: the Jason Wu for Target collection will be in stores this February, so make sure to have the Got the Blues for Red and other OPI reds in stock for the smart fashionistas needing to amp up those frocks.
