Oribe's La Fama in Miami; June 9-10
This June 9–10, Oribe Hair Care will hold Backstage Miami, an educational event of hairstyling, makeup artistry and entertainment with the theme La Fama that pays tribute to the Latin roots of the brand’s founder, celebrity stylist Oribe.
The event will include The Show and Hands-on Workshop. The Show will be a cross between a Broadway production and Vegas revue with special musical guests, and will feature hair inspiration from Oribe and the Oribe educational team. The Hands-on Workshop will allow stylists to learn and practice in-depth styling techniques demonstrated by Oribe and the team.
Team members for The Show include famed Vogue editor/fashion stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele doing the styling and renowned makeup artist/entrepreneur Sonia Kashuk doing the makeup.
The two-day event ends with Oribe choosing The One from the group of stylists who participated in the Hands-On Workshop. Over the next six months, The One will assist Oribe on photo shoots, receive weekly tutoring by phone and appear on oribe.com.
