Iconic Hairdressers Promote Emiliani's The 4th Dimension
Some of the world’s best hairdressers met in New York City on February 1, and on the 2nd in Atlantic City, NJ, to promote this spring’s The 4th Dimension: The Day of the Hair Dresser show, produced by Emiliani Enterprises to be held April 15–16 in Atlantic City at the Trump Taj Mahal. At the two-day event—intended to be an educational opportunity, performance and celebration of the industry—the hairdressers will work together on one stage.
While artists from many of the major haircare brands—including Matrix, Farouk Systems, John Paul Mitchell Systems and L'Oréal Professionnel—will be participating, the brands will not be the focus of the event and stylists will not be mentioning what products they’re using on stage.
The all-star lineup for the event includes Amit Abraham, Jo Blackwell, Robert Cromeans, Joseph Dimaggio, Nicholas French, Rafe Hardy, Tim Hartley, Gina Khan, Patrick McIvor, Michael O'Rourke, Boyd Parris, Leonel Rodriquez, Rocky Vitelli and Phillip Wilson.
L’Oréal Professionnel Portfolio Artist Jo Blackwell shared her enthusiasm for the event: “I have complete camaraderie, love, respect and a profound feeling of privilege to be amongst all my friends. This is a homecoming. We are all very proud of our brands and we are all very indebted to them—they gave us a career—but the truth of the matter is it’s us against the kitchen beautician. It’s one love and we’re in it to win it; it’s going to be the most rockin’ show.”
