Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2013 NYC: Parkchoonmoon
For the Fall/Winter 2013 Parkchoonmoon collection, Korean designer Demi Choonmoo Park was inspired by glaciers in the Arctic Sea. To exmplify the looks of the clothes, Choonmoon embraced neutrals of eggshell and light gray for the huge padded coats, vests and other pillowy-like outwear.
To let the clothes take center stage, Global Artistic Director for TIGI Nick Irwin wanted the hair to look Asian, silky and simply gorgeous. To do this he created a sleek low ponytail accented with a solid and strong middle part. "This look is definitely for the confident girl because the style really just shows off the face," Irwin said.
To get the look, Irwin sprayed hair with Your Highness Weightless Shine Spray throughout for super gloss and combed the hair to the nape of the neck, then secured the pony tightly with a doubled up white elastic. The pony was then finished with Sleek Mystique Look-Lock Hairspray to hold each strand in perfect place.
