Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute Support Those Affected by the Tragic Events in Boston

Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute are dedicating their support to the Boston community with a number of initiatives in the aftermath of the terrorist bombings.  Throughout the month of May, designated class fees and fees for treatments will be donated to One Fund Boston, an emergency aid organization created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor the Tom Menino. The organization directly supports victims and families affected by the bombing, including assistance with medical bills and rehabilitation bills and support for the families of those who lost their lives. “The bombs went off right outside our original International Dermal Institute on Boylston Street,” says Jane Wurwand founder of the brand. “We have strong ties with the Boston community for over 10 years and many of us have lived, worked and taught here. We all make that journey with them as Boston shows once again that they are patriots, survivors and strong.”

From May 13th through May 24th, to give back to this close-knit community, all 17 locations representing the International Dermal Institute (IDI) across the USA will donate 100% of all IDI class fees to the cause. In addition, all four Dermalogica concept spaces, with locations in Santa Monica, CA; SoHo, NYC; Scottsdale, AZ and Dermalogica Academy in NYC, will donate 100 percent of all proceeds from MicroZone treatments given on Saturday, May 11th.
