Dining For Change Slated For March

This March, the  National Cosmetology Association (NCA) encourages beauty professionals  to wine, dine and network over a meal  by hosting a Dining For Change event in their hometown that will help make a difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer, natural disasters or domestic violence. "PBA -NCA's Dining For Change is a grassroots fundraising initiative based on a new and growing model of localized charitable work called 'giving circles'—groups of individuals networked with other smaller groups to make a difference," explains NCA Leadership Council President Mark Goodman. "Our members told us they wanted more opportunities to connect locally, and PBA - NCA's Dining For Change created that venue."

Gatherings can be as simple as a pizza party to something as chic as a formal dinner. Guests who attend a Dining For Change event make a voluntary donation that's combined with other donations from across the country. One hundred percent of the contributions raised will  go to support the work of Look Good....Feel Better, CUT IT OUT, and the PBA - NCA Disaster Relief Fund.
