NYFW How-To: Ethereal Twilight-Hour Waves

In French, “cinq à sept” describes the hours between evening and night when city streets are flooded with the fading light of the sun. In fashion, Cinq à Sept means designer wares that walk the line between romantic and rock ’n’ roll, capturing the spirit of this evening phenomenon. Inspired by the designer’s feminine textures and patterns of the SS18 collection, Kien Hoang (@kienhoang), Oribe Director of Training and Content, styled ethereal hair with cool waves, natural body and straight ends.

Get the Look:

1.    Prep hair with Oribe Foundation Mist

2.    Apply Maximista Thickening Spray from roots to ends, Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream to the ends and Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse to the roots.

5.    Curl hair in alternating directions—toward and away from the face.

6.    Twist hair into a loose knot and secure with a large hairpin to dry.

7.    Release the knot and comb through with Swept Up Volume Powder Spray.

8.    Finish with Dry Texturizing Spray and Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray.
