Wanda Ruiz was named the recipient of this year’s CND Education Ambassador of the Year Award, the highest honor a CND educator can receive. Ruiz joined CND in 2006 and is part of the Team CND and is the organization’s longest standing member.
Ruiz has instructed dozens of boot camps in Spain, the U.S. and Trinidad, as well as been a lead artist for numerous New York Fashion Week shows for over six years. She was also featured in CND’s Earth SpaPedicure Spotlight video.
“Wanda is a true role model for nail professionals worldwide,” said Roxanne Valinoti, CND’s education training manager. “Her knowledge and teaching style makes it easy to understand. She continues to challenger herself by learning new skills and does it all with passion and grace.”
Other winners include MaryAnn Garcia for Employee of the Year, Stefanie Stafford for Manager of the Year, Jennifer Phelps for Regional Manager of the Year, Daniel More for the 6thAnnual Mary Nordstrom Memorial Award and Gladis Garcia for the Driver Award.
