The event was staged at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. The first day included presentations by Team Latin America, Farouk Systems founder and chairman Farouk Shami, his business partner John McCall, President Gregg Emery and General Counsel Wisam Ghuneim; a performance by Team Europe; educational classes focusing on the new Exposed 2 collection and SungGlitz; and an Education and Schools Awards Ceremony. Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jason Yates detailed the company's sales increases and the relaunch of SunGlitz, and debuted the retooled CHI magazine. Day two included presentations by Team Middle East, Team Asia and Team Australia; a keynote speech by author, producer and Extra host Mario Lopez; and a volleyball game between Beauty Systems Group and SalonCentric.
