Beauty brand Kao USA Inc., manufactured by Kao Corporation,has acquired the direct sales division of Essential Salon Products Inc. (ESP) to specifically be selling Goldwell and KMS California salon products in the New England area. “Kao is delighted to expand our direct presence in this area,” said Trevor Attenborough, president and General Manager of Kao US Salon. “We look forward to continuing to build the premium Goldwell and KMS California businesses through excellent support of our local salon customers and by creating opportunities for future growth in the region.” The acquisition became effective in June, giving Kao USA Inc. the opportunity to expand its networks through business infrastructure and building upon the core of the company.
