The Timo Weiland collection was an ode to the edgy couples of St. Marks Place in the 1980’s and 1990’s. The look was very downtown with a cool confidence. Working on both men and women, the charming Joseph DiMaggio, lead hairstylist for L’Oreal Professional, wanted to create hair that wasn’t trying too hard. For the ladies he prepped the hair with L’Oreal Professional Curl Satin and let it fall at its natural part. He sprayed L’Oreal Professional's Fresh Dust throughout the hair to create volume and messy texture. The hair was then pulled back into a low ponytail placing one side of the hair behind the ears. For the men he created a look of natural texture with L’Oreal Professional’s Homme Matte and Homme Clay. Both looks were finished with L’Oreal Professional’s Volume Expand Root Lift Spray.
The Sephora Pro Beauty team, led by Jose Rivera, kept the look youthful and cool with a kohl-lined eye, coupled with tinted moisturizer in sheer pinks and browns and a bit of lip gloss.
