Mercedes-Benz Spring '11 Fashion Week NYC: Preen

Sixties-inspired fringe bangs with rounded edges played a big part in the hair look—created by Luke Hersheson for Redken—at Preen's Milk Studios show. To get the look, Hersheson parted the hair in the center, curled it with a curling iron holding it upside down and twisting the hair around it for softer waves, then applied the clip-in bangs. Redken Body Full Volume Amplifier and Forceful 23 hairspray helped him achieve the look.

James Kaliardos, lead makeup artist for M.A.C, took inspiration from French actress Catherine Deneuve in the 1960s when creating the makeup look, which featured a pale blue shade on the inner corner of the eyelid and a natural-looking lip color achieved with the new M.A.C Kissable Lip Color in Super.
