Sport Clips, the largest men’s and boys’ grooming provider in the United States, opened its 700th store in White Marsh, MD, celebrating the occasion with a haircut marathon. Ten stylists gave 329 cuts between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on July 22 pursuing a Guinness World Record for the most haircuts completed in a 12-hour period. Sport Clips executives gave a check for $10,000 from the proceeds to the Baltimore Orioles Reach Foundation, a charitable organization focused on helping the nearby community and children. Several current and former players, as well as the Bird mascot, attended the event.
