Amazing Lash Studio | Esthetics Education Scholarship Program

The program provides an opportunity for prospective and newer students enrolled in any Esthetics program at an accredited school to win a $2,250 scholarship towards their tuition.
Amazing Lash Studio was founded in 2010 by Edward and Jessica Le, with the vision to create excellence and affordability in the eyelash extension industry. The company is dedicated to raising the bar on long-lasting beauty and professionalism in the eyelash extension industry. Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program – Basic
Applications for Fall accepted 6/19/17-8/21/17.
Generously funded by Wella’s Hairdressers at Heart, the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program – Basic honors the legacy of beauty legend Vidal Sassoon and pays homage to his belief in lifelong education. Each competition awards 10 winners with 50% of their program tuition costs, covered at a qualifying AACS cosmetology school (up to $10,000). Competition rounds are held each Spring and Fall, and are designed for prospective and newer students.
Established in 2012, this competition provides financial assistance and professional exposure, while celebrating the passion of aspiring hairstylists. “Many Basic and Advanced winners have been featured in the pages of leading salon and beauty publications,” says Beauty Changes Lives Foundation President Lynelle Lynch. “This exposure elevates winners’ personal brands in front of employers and the entire industry.”
Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program – Advanced

Generously funded by Wella’s Hairdressers at Heart, the Vidal Sassoon Professional Beauty Education Scholarship Program – Advanced honors the legacy of beauty legend Vidal Sassoon and pays homage to his belief in lifelong education. Each competition awards 10 licensed hairstylists with “Advanced” scholarships to attend a North American Sassoon Academy program, including travel and course fees up to $4,850. Competition rounds are held each Spring and Fall, and are designed for licensed professionals and educators.

Mud Makeup Scholarship
Applications for Fall accepted 7/24/17-9/11/17.
Generously funded by Make-up Designory (MUD), the MUD Makeup Scholarship offers five $2,500.00 scholarships twice a year for a total of $25,000. The MUD scholarship is open to any student attending an AACS member school who is enrolled in any program that offers a MUD makeup course.
Established in 2016, the MUD Makeup Scholarship is the first Beauty Changes Lives program focused on makeup artistry. Beauty Changes Lives President Lynelle Lynch says, “Beauty Changes Lives is committed to helping individuals pursue the many diverse career paths available in the professional beauty and wellness industry. The addition of a makeup scholarship complements the established scholarship programs that support cosmetology, nail, esthetics and massage therapy programs and allows the foundation to offer a comprehensive suite of beauty and wellness scholarships.”
CND | Tippi Hedren Nail Scholarship Program

The BCL | CND | Tippi Hedren Nail Scholarship Program awards five scholarships to individuals pursuing education in the professional nail industry. Each recipient will receive up to $2570 for nail education tuition at an American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) member school.
Generously funded by CND and its valued distributors, the scholarship honors the legacy of nail industry pioneer and godmother of the Vietnamese-American nail industry, Tippi Hedren. Since its inception in 2014, the scholarship has been awarded to more than 40 individuals pursuing nail careers across North America.

Leo Passage Educational Scholarship

The Leo Passage Advanced NEXTGEN Scholarship is once-in- a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of something big and have your voice heard in the industry. For licensed barbers and cosmetologists with 1-5 years experience, winners will receive an all-expense paid trip to Chicago to showcase their creative talent on stage at the 2018 Beauty Changes Lives Event, held during America’s Beauty Show. Scholarship awardees will work alongside NEXTGEN and top industry professionals from across the country, showcasing their work in a comprehensive runway show.
Mentors from Pivot Point International’s Creative Education team will work side by side with the winners to ensure they are supported for a dynamic, successful runway show. Awardees will create cohesive image portfolios documenting their behind-the-scenes experience throughout the trip, and they’ll gain valuable insight on what’s needed to thrive among the elite professionals in a competitive industry.
They’ll also gain new experience, a showcase of their talent and continuous education to enhance their careers and provide the best services. After this creative immersion in beautiful downtown Chicago, winners will return to their salons or barbershops with fresh and creative ideas for their clients. They will experience firsthand what tomorrow’s leadership in the beauty industry is all about!
