Tricoci University Honored to Support Upcoming All-Women Charity Bicycle Ride

This summer, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is honored to once again support Illinois’ only all-women’s charity bicycle ride, Venus de Miles. Featuring 13, 28 and 64-mile course options, the Venus de Miles is a non-competitive ride for women of all levels, and a true celebration of sisterhood and female power.

Held in aid of Greenhouse Scholars, a non-profit organization that provides both financial and personal support to Illinois’ most deserving and promising college students, the Venus de Miles is a can’t miss event this summer. Cosmetology students and expert instructors from Tricoci University’s Libertyville, Chicago NW and Glendale Heights campuses will be pampering participants with free mini manicures and pedicures during the event’s post-ride festival, and delicious refreshments and entertainment will also be offered as sweet celebratory rewards.

Vice President of Operations at Tricoci, Laura Pierce, expressed her passion for the event, stating, “Our team of instructors and students is excited to contribute their cosmetology talents to this important educational cause. We are looking forward to cheering on the participants—and pampering them with well-deserved beauty treatments afterwards.”

This year's Venus de Miles will be held at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest on Saturday, August 9th. Tricoci University's free mini manicures and pedicures will be available from 10am to 2pm at the post-ride festival, located at the Glen Rowan House on campuis.
