Ponytail Bar at John Barrett Salon with Shu Uemura
Last night, at the John Barrett Salon located on the 9th floor of Bergdorf Goodman in New York City, Shu Uemura Art of Hair held a special launch event for its newest product joining the Essence Absolue line: the Essence Absolue Nourishing Fragrance with Oil Pearls debuting January 2013.
While enjoying a little cheese, fruit and sparkling refreshments, John Barrett and representatives for Shu Uemura Art of Hair both spoke about the Essence Absolue Nourishing Fragrance with Oil Pearls that comes in a gorgeous glass bottle and resembles a beautiful flute of champagne.
The product is designed to add a touch of shine to the hair while not weighing it down; additionally appealing is that is smells wonderful! The product is infused with Camellia Oil that will add the shine while remaining to be nourishing.
After learning about the product, guests of the event then got a chance to try out the product while being treated to a special holiday updo at John Barrett’s Ponytail Bar.
I was on hand to try out the special oil and get a fancy updo! With having a fairly short bob, a striking pony wasn't possible for me so I received a special pass to Barrett's previous styling bar, the Braid Bar. Braid Extraordinaire Kayley worked wonders on my short bob leaving me feeling very Snow White and the Huntsmen.
