Premiere Orlando set the stage for industry professionals to connect, learn and inspire.
The Magic Kingdom wasn’t the only attraction in Orlando, FL, when Premiere Orlando came to town from May 31 to June 2. The Premiere Orlando International Beauty Event, which coincided with Premiere DaySpa, drew more than 55,000 attendees to the Orange County Convention Center. With top-notch education, eye-popping exhibits and awe-inspiring main stage performances, the event kicked the professional beauty industry into high gear.
Premiere Orlando’s initiative to make education a priority resulted in more than 120 Saturday classes and 420-plus free classes in coloring, cutting, extensions, business, makeup and more. Men’s hair education took center stage and industry experts such as Kenny Duncan of Andis Company led the classrooms. Premiere Orlando’s Nail World offered a variety of cutting-edge classes on nail art techniques and business tips from companies including OPI, CND and Orly. CND was thrilled to announce CNDU at the event, the first online education program for nail professionals.
On the Main Stage, Wella Professionals Creative Ambassadors Christopher and Sonya Dove and TIGI’s Nick Irwin and Christel Lundqvist crafted trendsetting styles, while the Paul Mitchell Artistic Team, including Robert Cromeans and Takashai Kitamura, inspired the crowd with its latest techniques and collections. Also taking the stage, the Sebastian team unveiled Dry Clean Only, a new dry shampoo designed to bring creative styling to a new level.
Aveda rocked the house on the Hair Color Stage with the Culture Clash collection featuring Global Artistic Director Ian Michael Black, who forecasted a continuing pastel trend and the rise of multidimensional reds. Also offering a glimpse into the future of haircolor were Paul Mitchell, Wella Professionals, Matrix, TIGI and Keune.
On a 7.3-acre exhibit floor attendees checked out the newest products and trends from 805 companies including Redken, American Crew, Keratin Complex and Obliphica Professional, to name a few.
