Artist Stories: Ruth Roche

I first met Ruth Roche when she was working as an assistant educator at Pivot Point's Advanced Education Center in Chicago and I was Director of Pivot Point Member School Sales. It was 25+ years ago, I was a nerdy budding beauty exec and Ruth was quite simply "weird" (in the best of ways).

Although I didn’t get to know Ruth during her short time at Pivot Point, she made an immediate impression upon me. She was clearly smart, driven, and talented.  To me, Ruth was one of those hard to miss personalities (although I don’t remember her as being especially outgoing). Soon after meeting, she was on her way to big things with Trevor Sorbie, followed by a steady rise in profile and accomplishments as time has gone by.
