Letter F is for Friends, asking for referrals - I have been away from cutting hair for a few years, seventeen, in fact, since I sold my shop.  Many things have changed.  Some important things have not.  Asking for referrals is still the number one way to build business.  It is still FREE.  It still works great.  Giving every client two business cards every visit and asking them to send a friend pays huge dividends.  If it is considered old school, so be it.  Old school was good school.
