#SupportYourStylist Initiative Makes it Easy to Help Beauty Pros

I'll be the first to admit that my hairstylist is high on the list of people I miss most while in quarantine. Though they might not be deemed "essential" by the government, hairstylists are undoubtedly an importantly part of their clients' lives. In honor of #NationalHairstylistAppreciationDay, L'Oréal is issuing a call-to action for all customers and loyal clients to join the effort to support stylists that are currently struggling.

The collective donations to the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) Relief Fund will immediately provide short-term aid for needs such as food and bills. The newly announced fund brings L’Oreal USA professional brands; Matrix, Biolage, Redken, L’Oréal Professionnel, Pureology, Mizani, Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair, Pulp Riot and Baxter of California; together in a historic effort to support the beauty industry and directly impact the licensed hair professionals unable to work due to COVID-19. L’Oréal USA Professional Brands and its employees have kicked off the fundraising efforts with their donations and have set a collective goal to raise a $2.5M monetary donation for the relief fund.
