Hard work equals major reward. Colorist Kate Wessman (@katieclairedoeshair) created this jaw-dropping honey-dipped cinnamon color for her client, correcting her previous permanent dark color from her mids to ends and natural regrowth. Using two different developers throughout her balayage, Wessman was able to create the requested overall lighter hue and deep dimension her client longed for.
Get The Look
- Full balayage with very small subsections using Joico Free Play Clay Lightener + Blonde Life Powder Lightener with Olaplex. Alternate between two different developers for dimension.
- Place each section in foils and process under heat.
- Tone at the sink with Joico 4NA + 6BA + 7NV + Wella Color Charm 6AA.
- While processing smudge root to help blend lighter regrowth using Wella 3AA + Joico 4NA. Follow with Olaplex treatment.
