Eye Candy: The Roma Collection

For her Roma collection, co-owner and Creative Director of Royal Hair and Beauty Mary Alamine was influenced by the gypsy lifestyle. “Gypsies consider themselves free, which is why they don’t tie themselves to a territory or homeland nor are they bound to the one their ancestors migrated from,” she says. To highlight the essence of this lifestyle, Alamine encouraged movement in the hair and took a carefree approach to styling. With the incorporation of the braidsand strong textures, she captured the bohemian influences and added a modern twist of sophistication.
