FUEL Launches First Education Event for True Stylists

More than 150 True Stylists attended the inaugural FUEL Emerge - A True Stylist Affair look and learn education event on August 31st, and received essential cutting and styling education, the new eight-piece FUEL™ styling collection, choice of FUEL™ Pro Flat Iron or Pro Dryer and three CEU hours.

For five hours, the FUEL™ education team lead by Director of Education Lindsey Misale demonstrated fundamental techniques from the Archi-Texture cutting series where attendees learned how to maximize blending, channeling and sliding techniques; create texture and movement; and removing weight without breaking a style. Separate side platforms had FUEL educators Carlos Gallegos and Kelsey Higginbotham demonstrating styling techniques by cocktailing products. An area for FUEL shears invited guests to ask questions and test the new cobalt, stainless steel and Damascus shears on mannequin heads.

“FUEL is determined to provide practical education so True Stylists can work smarter, not harder. Our curriculum focuses on techniques and fundamental best practices such as body positioning that provide stylists sustained comfort and a balanced result for clients,” says Lindsey.

“This education event is just the first of many available in look and learn or hands-on formats, that FUEL will be holding around the country and in Canada. For True Stylists who are interested in FUEL and sharpening their skills, go to www.FuelHair.com for information.”
