Chic and modern chignons ruled the runway at Naeem Khan's Fall 2020 New York Fashion Week Show.
Jon Reyman for Aveda and Dyson started by prepping the hair with Aveda’s new Nutriplenish Leave-In Conditioner to provide hydration, shine and protection against heat styling. Next, he used Volumizing Tonic throughout the lengths of the hair to add additional weight, a slight hold and to create volume throughout. Adding a very strong side part, Reyman then slicked the hair back into a chignon, making it sit a bit higher than the traditional low style to give it a strong and fresh silhouette and providing a beautiful strong base for the headpiece. This sleek and architectural chignon was held in place with Control Force Firm Hold Hairspray and finished with Nutriplenish Multi-Use Oil to add beautiful shine to the completed look. He used netting and the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer on low to make the chignon extra shiny and structured.
