This Haircolor is Trending Right Now

Holiday season is upon us and it’s sure to be the busiest time of year. Clients have lots of parties and events, and always want to look their best. In my salon, this is the time of year where I see my clients at least twice, for both color and styling appointments.

Most clients are seeking a subtle change whether it be new hair color for the new year or a new hair style for a Christmas or New Years party. 'Tis the season to look glitzy and glamorous!

The biggest color trend I am seeing this fall is my blonde clients transitioning to a bronde shade—that sweet spot between a blonde and a brunette. It can be an infused combination of caramels, blondes, chestnuts and browns.

The best part about the trending shade is that it can be achieved a variety of ways; it can be created through balayage, foilayage or highlights depending on the desired results and the clients starting color. Brondes can be subtle or they can really make a statement, it all depends on the overall look the client wants. Bronde works anytime of the year, but it's the perfect transitional color from fall to winter and it's flattering on almost everyone regardless of the hair is fine, thick, long or short. Clients with thin hair would really benefit from trying a bronde shade because it creates dimension, giving the impression of fuller, thicker hair.

If your client isn't particularly keen on the bronde trend, social media, magazines and Pinterest are a great source of inspiration for for holiday styles. I’m seeing a lot of the old favorites like glamorous Hollywood waves that are sleek, shiny, smooth and perfectly in shape—a beautiful look for the holiday season.
