IBS Speaker Spotlight: Dallan Flint

The countdown is on. The nation's longest-running beauty show, The International Beauty Show, is returning to New York in less than three weeks. For three straight days, beauty gurus from all different professions will convene in New York City and we hope to see you there.

One of the show's biggest highlights is the world class education available to attendees, including 100 free classes, pay-to-attend master classes and hands-on workshops. Leading up to the event, we'll be highlighting several speakers that you'll want to add to your list of must-sees. Today, we're sharing the low-down on color guru Dallan Flint. 

Who: Flint is currently the Artistic Director at the Taylor Andrews Academy in Utah, and heads a team known as the Haus of Flint, which specializes in collaborating, education and mentorship. Haus of Flint is a one stop shop to some of the greatest artists in the industry, including established artists and up and coming artists. The team has worked to built solid relationships with many who specialize in color, cutting, curly hair, barbering, styling, braiding, avant garde, makeup artistry, videography and photography. 

With 19 years of experience in the industry amazing industry, Flint has had the honor and opportunity to travel, teach, and compete around the world. He's also won and have placed in multiple prestigious competitions such as Visionary awards, AIPP, Contessa and NAHA. 

What: At IBS New York, flint will be teaching a class called Block Party! 5 Easy Steps to Mastering Coloring-Blocking In short, it's a color placement class that will go over the basics, sectioning and placement.  Attendees will learn how to feature the color(s) they want in the hair depending on haircut.
