Warm Up with this Wearable Sunset Color

You read that right—this sunset look is subtle and totally wearable. Taking a break from the usual flaming reds, bright oranges and border-line neon pinks, this softer take on the trend from New Zealand-based colorist Jemma Woods (@gemmaskyehair) packs an unexpected and whimsical touch, without the shocking color. Try it on red-haired clients or those looking for a warm-toned look that will inspire happy thoughts all winter long.

Get the Look:

  1. Starting on a level nine with previous regrowth, apply Redken Chromatics 5N and 6RV in equal parts to zone one.
  2. Through zones two and three, melt a combination of Redken City Beats Big Apple Red, Indigo Skyline, Yellow Cab Yellow, Chelsea Coral, East Village Violet and West Village Sunset into different sections throughout.
