Meet Tina Greene: Paul Mitchell's 'Best New Talent' Turned In-House Stylist

Freelance hairdresser, media production coordinator, bobby pin enthusiast—these are a few things Tina Greene goes by. The LA-based hairstylist, who counts Lucie Doughty as a mentor, won a Paul Mitchell best new talent award and is now an in-house stylist for the brand. Success isn’t slowing down this rising star.

AHA MOMENT

I walked into Paul Mitchell the School in Costa Mesa, CA to get a haircut, and I got the feeling of being home. Two weeks later I was in the Core program. One of my first questions was, “Do I need to know anything about hair to do this?”

TRAINING DAYS

I started assisting Lucie Doughty on shoots while I was brand director at Straight Pin Studio in LA and a JPMS Future Professional. Soon I became JPMS’s Media Production Coordinator.

CLAIM TO FAME

I focus on editorial hairstyling and I dabble in color. Winning Best New Talent for Paul Mitchell’s Color Outside the Lines in 2017 was an integral part of joining the JPMS family!
