- Start with the fringe (leave long for the mysterious type of client). Cut a guide in the middle and over direct to opposite side to gain length. Build a diagonal line from center to corner of the eye.
- Same for the face frame. Build a line with diagonal back angles and diagonal cutting lines. Point cut for more texture and use blunt lines for finer hair.
- Follow the natural elements of the curly texture. Start by applying a light and soft leave-in conditioner like Redken Acidic Perfecting Leave-In Treatment for Damaged Hair on very wet hair. Brush into ribbons and scrunch to encourage curl.
- Air dry for a bit and then use a Sam Villa Light Professional Ionic Hair Dryer and diffuser with Cult + King Style and scrunch. Break up curls with more Style or a light finishing oil.
