Jason Hall Explores Men's Looks from Past Eras in Exclusive Collection

A series of men’s looks from the ’70s to the early ’90s is the focal point of Scenes, the latest release from Jason Hall, owner of a namesake salon in Edinburgh, Scotland. Using elements like the ’80s New Romantic vibe and the British punk rock band Buzzcocks as inspiration, Hall created masculine shapes, putting a fresh spin on them with cutting and finishing techniques. “Referencing past iconic music periods and making them relevant to today’s market has been a fun project and one that’s important to the youth market in my salon,” says Hall.

Hall used an open razor to personalize this textured crop before applying prepping lotion and blow-drying the style.
