Contradiction Nail Styles: Chained Up Step-by-Step

How To Instructions

  1. P.R.E.P. the natural nail and apply a CND Clear Tip. Apply a BRISA Clear Gel enhancement and finish with the 180 side of the BLIZZARD™ File.
  2. Apply two thin layers of CND SHELLAC Naked Naiveté. Cure each layer for one minute in the CND LED Lamp.
  3. Apply CND Additives Midnight Revelry to the top portion of the nail, tapering down the right side using a dry Gel Flat Oval Brush.
  4. Using a piece of makeup sponge and Naked Naiveté lightly tap over the Additives. Cure for one minute.
  5. Apply a thin layer of CND SHELLAC Brand XPRESS5™ Top Coat. Cure for one minute.
  6. Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.
  7. Use tweezers to adhere a pearl to the top right corner using SealeBond™ Adhesive (See “To Create Pearl” below)
  8. To Create Pearl:
    1. Mix Additives and BRISA Sculpting Gel Clear in a mixing tray to create the design’s colors. Gently stir together using a spatula or an orangewood stick until thoroughly mixed. Use a slow, steady motion to avoid creating bubbles. To maintain the integrity of the enhancement never mix more than 30% Additives to any gel blend.
    2. Pearl Blend
      1. 3 parts BRISA Sculpting Gel Clear
      2. 1 part Additives Titanium Pearl
      3. Using Pearl Blend sculpt the desired size and shape of the pearl onto the palette paper. Cure for one minute.
  9. Apply BRISA Gloss to the Pearl. Cure for one minute.
  10. Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  5. Mix 3 parts BRISA Sculpting Gel Clear and 1 part Additives Titanium Pearl in a mixing tray to create the Pearl Blend. Sculpt the desired size and shape of the pearl onto the palette paper. Cure for one minute.  Apply BRISA Gloss to the pearl. Cure for one minute.  Wipe with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove top film. Use tweezers to adhere the pearl to the top right corner using SealeBond™ Adhesive.
