American Culture's Simply Smooth Expands to Eastern Europe

The Simply Smooth group in Ukraine

American Culture's Simply Smooth has expanded internationally, to Eastern Europe's Ukraine and Russia. Co-creator and Global Artistic Director Doreen Guarneri spent nearly a month abroad, along with Senior Vice President of Sales James Hobart and International Simply Smooth Educator Megan Aden.

Regarding her visit to Ukraine, Guarneri said, "I feel in my heart that they will have tremendous success with Simply Smooth. It's perfect for this market as many women here have color treated hair and it tends to be dry, stressed and keratin depleted."

Guarneri held training venues for salon educators and distributor sales consultants in Kharkov, and hosted a private showing for about 100 stylists in the country's capital city, Kiev. Guarneri and her crew also launched Simply Smooth throughout Russia with their distributor, Ornell. Over the course of three days,  a crowd of 50,000 gathered at the Intercharm show in Moscow to learn more about the products. —Kristen Heinzinger
