Last week, American Salon/Redken Runway Reinvention contest-winner Liubov (Liubi) Rachmanina flew to New York City to have dinner with the American Salon editorial team, shop the Redken 5th Avenue store and have breakfast with Redken Creative Consultant Guido. Liubi, a stylist at Square Salon in Las Vegas, used Redken products to recreate the 1960s-inspired French pleat Guido styled for the fall 2011 Bottega Veneta show into a salon-friendly look. The contest was judged by American Salon Editor in Chief/Beauty Director Kelley Donahue and Publisher Brett Vinovich, along with Los Angeles photographer Altert Sanchez.
