Yesterday I had the pleasure of checking out Matrix Artistic Director Chrystofer Benson’s Visionary Shoot class in New York City. At the two-day educational experience, held at 28on27th.com's photo studio, beauty pros got the the opportunity to learn how to coordinate an editorial shoot, including concept creation, storyboards, model selection, the photography process, fashion styling and how to get work published. For my part, I provided background on American Salon's aesthetic style and explained how the submission and selection process works. On the last day of the class, students had got the chance to bring their artistic visions to life by participating in an actual shoot--can't wait to see their results!
