Andis Employees Participate in the United Way of Racine County Fundraiser

Matthew K. Andis and Ivan Zoot

Andis employees topped last year's fund raising effort for United Way of Racine County by 24 percent this year through creative initiatives. As a reward, employees watched Matthew K. Andis, the company's president, and several other Andis employees receive Mohawk haircuts from Ivan Zoot.

"I am so proud of our employees' dedicated efforts in raising such a large donation," Andis said. "They prove again and again how committed we all are to this community and to people in need."

The 13 fund raising efforts included pledge cards, a flat screen TV raffle, car wash, silent auction, bake sale and chili cook-off. Discounted Andis apparel and haircuts from Zoot were sold, with a portion of proceeds benefiting United Way. . —Kristen Heinzinger
