Calling all licensed beauty professionals in the Chicago, IL area! The Beauty Bus Foundation is now seeking hairstylists, makeup artists, nail technicians, cosmetologists, barbers and estheticians to volunteer their time and talent for a very meaningful event. The Beauty Bus Foundation, the non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for chronically and terminally ill people and those who care for them has partnered with the ALS Association of Chicago, to create a pop-up salon that will focus on beauty and pampering. On Saturday May 18th, 2013, from 9:30-3:00, at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL, the pop-up salon will offer people living with ALS and their  caregivers a variety of complimentary beauty and grooming services in a comfortable and serene setting. The pop-up salon event will take place at the Visitor’s Center in Cantigny Park in conjunction with the ALS Association, Chicago, Walk to defeat ALS. Come aboard the beauty bus and bring joy into a person’s life.
