For our March 2011 issue, we were thrilled to partner with Redken to shoot our very first cover and feature in 3D, "Pop Art." Shot by photographer David Byun, the feature showcased voluminous hip and urban yet wearable hairstyles created by Redken Artist Carmody Homan. The 3D format presented the perfect opportunity for Homan to demonstrate that volume can be created in numerous places in a hairstyle—the crown, mid-lengths and even at the ends. Check out some of the behind-the-scenes images from the shoot, which took place at Byun's private photo studio in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.
