Bodyography and The Marilyn Brush Go Red

Tabatha Coffey

On February 5, National Wear Red Day, Bodyography Cosmetics and The Marilyn Brush co-hosted a fashion show fundraiser to benefit the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign, which promotes healthy living for the prevention of heart disease. Bodyography Creative Director Nicole Krakowski oversaw the makeup  look, which featured smokey cat eyes and a bright red lip, while Marilyn Brush Creative Director Douglas Martucci  created the glamorous, red carpet-ready runway hair. The models wore red dresses from a list of designers that included Project Runway contestants Gordana Gelhausen, Jesus Estrada,  Johnny Sakalis, Jose Castaneda and Christiane King, along with designers Emillio O, Maria Stanley, Deborah Lindquist and Rachel  Pally.

TV personalities, including Erin Lucas from MTV's The City, Janine Jarman and Brig Van Austen from the current season of Shear Genius and Tabatha Coffey from Tabatha's Salon Takeover, also showed up to support the cause.

During  the  entire  month  of  February,  a  portion  of  proceeds  from  Bodyography’s Red China lipstick and The Marilyn Monroe Signature Collection will be donated to the Go Red for Women Campaign and The American  Heart Association.
