Bridal Fashion Week 2012: Delicate Twists, Pretty Chignons and Buns, and Gentle Waves

At Bridal Fashion Week 2012, American Salon sought out all the blossoming hair trends for the fast-approaching wedding season. Twists were used to add detail to chignons at Badgley Mischka and Anne Bowen, and the hair at Isaac Mizrahi’s show for Kleinfeld also utilized a low coil of hair resting at the nape of the neck. Models at Angel Sanchez’s show had feminine waves accented with metallic headbands. Overall, the soft detailing in twists, the simplicity in chignons and gentle waves are sure to leave a lasting impression on brides who are preparing to not only say “I do” to their fiancé, but to their hair style as well. —Aja Edwards   Photos courtesy of: Aja Edwards, Lotus Abrams, Stephen Churchil-Downes for Moroccanoil (Badgley Mischka, Angel Sanchez and Isaac Mizrahi) and Shop-PR (Anne Bowen).
