Celebrity hairstylist and salon owner Adrian De Berardinis treated eight women who beat the odds against cancer to a day of pampering and red carpet glamour during the event Celebrating the Beauty of Life: Star Styling for Cancer Survivors, held at his namesake salon in Manhattan. The women, ages 32 to 55, battled a variety of cancers including lymphoma, breast and stage 4A tonsil cancer. In addition to receiving star status hairstyles by De Berardinis, the ladies got their makeup done by professional makeup artist Michael Dillon and participated in a photo shoot with Elle magazine photographer Katie Fischer. The women also enjoyed Champagne and sweets throughout the day and, to top it off, a complimentary dinner at Delicatessen Restaurant in New York City.
