ColorProof Launches 2016 Education Line-Up

ColorProof Evolved Color Care hosted its Platform Artist and Artistic Specialist Teams in Newport Beach, CA for a comprehensive, 2-day training to launch the brand’s 2016 educational initiatives. ColorProof’s Director of Education, Nicole Nixon, led the 65 attendees from across the U.S. and Canada through a packed agenda focused on teaching the 2016 class formats, trends, techniques and new product concept information for the first half of the year while emphasizing team building and comradery among the artists.

The event kicked off with a welcome reception where Founder, Product Developer & CEO, Jim Markham, and International Creative Director, Phillip Wilson, welcomed the teams. Next up, was an extensive product knowledge coaching on ColorProof’s latest and upcoming product launches followed by a hands-on training focused on trends, techniques and finishing skills. Each artist worked on perfecting their facilitation skills during the presentation segments where they mastered the 2016 education class formats. The training also included a Learning Breakfast hosted by ColorProof’s Marketing Team and a motivational talk featuring retailing and business development tips shared by National Sales Manager, Rick Judson.

“In the past ColorProof’s artistic trainings were either team-specific or held regionally, so this was the first time we gathered both teams together in one place to train, guaranteeing cohesive and consistent messaging for our brand,” says Nixon, who was handpicked to her role by Cheryl and Jim Markham in October 2015. “Having the entire team together allowed us to set crystal clear goals for 2016 and facilitate tons of positive idea sharing and bonding among our artists.  It also allowed me to see firsthand where each artist is at in their development, so I can help fine-tune their skills and grow their artistry to the next level.”
