David Babaii Styles Uma Thurman's Hair at Paris Fashion Week

Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii created a tousled Bohemian up-do for Uma Thurman at Paris Fashion Week's Chanel Show, to emphasize the movie star's beautiful bone structure and timeless Chanel dress. He began by spraying her entire head with Pure Texture by IT&LY Hairfashion, scrunching locks for body and lift. Next, he dried hair with a round brush for texture and curl. He then applied Pure Definition Paste, using his fingers to loosen the curls from the mid-section to the ends, so the texture at the top and crown area was not disturbed. Next, Babaii raked hair back with his fingers and gently rolled and twisted it to the center of the nape, securing with bobby pins and letting any loose hairs fall naturally. For hold, he used a misting of Pure Definition Hairspray.

Babaii also styled Thurman's hair for the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 Show. He crafted a shiny and sleek ponytail to compliment her brightly patterned Vuitton dress and red lips. He first applied Pure Fluid Experience to hydrate and add shine and then blow-dried hair stick-straight using Racing Red Ionic Blow Dryer. Next, he created a long side part and applied Pure Definition Paste to sweep the hair to the side and straight back. After brushing and smoothing the remaining hair into a ponytail, Babaii finished the look with Pure Definition Hairspray. —Kristen Heinzinger
