Design Focus: Trilogy Salon, Indianapolis, Indiana

Mother and daughter team Darlene Misko (mom) and J. Nichole Phillips (daughter) decided to take the big leap into business ownership together and opened the Aveda Concept Trilogy Salon in the affluent neighborhood of Keystone in Indianapolis, Indiana.

"We wanted a space reflective of the area we are in," said Misko. "We didn'tt want basic; we wanted a salon that would stick out while still fitting in with the exclusive and distinct boutiques and establishments in the area."
