Located in Frisco, Texas, the new Von Anthony Salon is being billed as the first upscale, state-of-the-art salon north of Dallas. Designed as a destination salon for both clients and stylists, Von Anthony offers an elegant escape for pampering with a wide variety of salon and spa services such as styling, haircolor, perms, extensions, scalp treatments, facials, massage and waxing.

From the moment guests arrive at Von Anthony, they know they are in for an amazing experience. The chic decor features stunning chandeliers throughout the salon, custom-designed white leather furniture, European-style Plush salon chairs by Belvedere, Freestyle Systems SpectraLights and Freestylist free-floating dryer systems at every station, walls with a soothing platinum and white color palette and floors with subtle dark purple undertones. The shampoo room is described as a "Zen sanctuary," with dimmed lighting and soft music that allow clients to fully relax during the scalp massage.
Primary owner Amy Kott-Hovland, who named the salon after her son with co-owner and husband Kerry, has been in the industry for more than 20 years and has been recognized with many awards for her color techniques. She has also spent 13 years traveling around the country conducting seminars and classes. "I believe that a talent not shared is not truly a talent," Kott-Hovland says. "My passion is to share my knowledge so that future stylists will be confident and successful." —L.M.
