To honor Earth Month, Aveda will be hosting its first annual Seattle Trashion Jam Monday April 30, which will join the L.A. and D.C. Trashion shows.
Salons are invited to attend and participate in the events, which include creating a “trashion” look made from trash and eco-friendly/recycled materials, complete with runway hair, makeup and styling.
Each salon can enter one model and will have one minute to showcase their look before a panel of judges vote for best hair and makeup, best “trashion” outfit and best overall look at the end of the night.
Judges include Aveda Masters John Reyman, Lupe Voss and Janessa Para; Faatemah Ampey will emcee the event. — Aja Edwards
