On February 5, 2016, Farouk Systems, Inc. and their employees celebrated National Wear Red Day in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for a Day movement. National Wear Red Day helps to bring attention to the staggering facts that impact women’s health and encourages everyone to wear red, raise their voices and to take actions to live longer, healthier lives. Farouk Systems, Inc. is proud to take part in this campaign and to help raise awareness in the fight against these rising numbers.
To mark this important day, all Farouk employees showed support for these issues by wearing red as well as seeking additional support from salons and fellow artists within the beauty industry by encouraging them to also wear red.

On February 6, 2016, Farouk Systems will continue their awareness efforts with their endorsement of the Pink Women’s Health Symposium. This event was hosted by the Houston Metropolitan Area Chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Farouk Systems served as a sponsor by donating products and door prizes for their Women Heart’s Red Bag of Courage. The symposium provides women with accurate information on various aspects of heart disease so they can make heart healthy decisions about diet, exercise, medical treatment and mental health.
