Felix Fischer’s Hair Looks at Badgley Mischka Fall 2014 Bridal Collection

Classic female Hollywood icons – namely Bette, Joan, Ava, Grace and Rita – and the ambiance of the French Riviera of the ‘30s both inspired the Badgley Mischka Fall 2014 Bridal collection. Felix Fischer of Moroccanoil created the romantic hairstyles, emphasized with curls and precise bobs. The looks were influenced by hair textures from the 1970s and the angular bobs of the 1920s. Fischer's bobs were cut shorter in the back and featured an asymmetrical, deep side part.

To create the looks, Fischer prepped the ends with Moroccanoil Treatment and created lift throughout the hair with the Root Boost and the Volumizing Mousse. “I then used a 7/8-inch curling iron, starting on the side part, and created small curls,” says Fischer. “I staggered and overlapped each alternate row and pinned them.”

He then set the hairstyle with the Luminous Hairspray Strong and brushed the hair out with the Moroccanoil Classic Boar Bristle Brush for volume and the Round Brush for shine. “I finished with an overall spray of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong for added hold, then misted Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray on top of the hair to reflect the lights of the runway,” says Fischer.
