Susan G. Komen Southwest Florida has teamed up with Survivor Glam Squad, a non-profit organization sponsored by Peter Coppola Beauty, to provide free makeovers for breast cancer survivors at the first-ever Pre Pink Out Party at Coconut Point Mall in Estero, FL.
Since 2002, Susan G. Komen Southwest Florida has raised more than $6 million in grants for local agencies in the area, but this is the first time they will be hosting the Pre Pink Out Party from 4 to 9 p.m. on March 7 to kick off the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, which takes place the following morning.
Along with makeovers, the Pre Pink Out Party will feature live music, refreshments and race registration. Survivor Glam Squad hosts makeover events across the U.S. for women who have survived breast cancer to regain their sense of beauty, self-esteem, femininity and confidence. At the Pre Pink Out Party, the complementary services they will be offering include make-up application, fashion tips and hair/wig styling.
